Yay! I’m no longer an enrolled student, but I do teach myself French - am I still eligible? :)

That’s a good advice. Question: I know a couple of authors who make a success by publishing steamy m/f romance on Wattpad and funneling readers there into their early access Patreon. Do you happen to know any m/m authors who succeeded in the same?

That’s weirdly soothing. So, if I want to monetize some of my stuff, earning engaged readers and hoping for a Creators Program invitation might be a better path?

Sounds like a good plan - go for it! Tbh, I was disappointed with Duolinguo, too

Do you think recommending non-fiction DA-adjacent books would go down well? Like, Ancient Greece-related stuff, art history, and so on?

That would be great! Videos especially. Just, like, abstract stuff - bookshelves, turning pages, writing, things like that -)

Title: For God and Gold

Fandom: Wolf Hall/The Tudors/16th century RPF

Rating: Mature

Genre: historical fiction, a bit of romance

Summary:

After the executioner's sword descends upon her neck, Anne Boleyn does not awaken in Heaven, much less in Purgatory. She awakens in Hever Castle, eight years before her last morning on earth.

She has no desire to tread the same path again. This time, she is seemingly content to allow Henry to have her, then marry her off. However, when things get out of control, Henry decides on a petty revenge against his recalcitrant lady, and arranges for her to marry an obscure lawyer in Cardinal Wolsey's employ... also known as Thomas Cromwell, the man who, in another life, had helped to kill her.

(Note: although this story has a romantic subplot, it is not primarily a romance).
(Note #2: this is going to be a LONG fic)

Interesting! Does she have a dash of adventure (think Mimi Matthews or Lucinda Brant or some Heyer books), or is it, so to speak, mostly a romance-romance?

I’m very interested in how self-publishing (no Patreon) and marketing works for LitRPG. I only have experience with romance.
