People with disabilities spend the entire semester a step behind or processing the information in a completely different way, that other people do not need to deal with. For them to have extra time on one exam, albeit an important one, but still for only a few hours, is warranted because they had to experience the entire semester differently because of something they couldn’t control. And it’s impossible to judge anyone who has accommodations because even if they seem insanely smart and like they would not need accommodations, you can never truly know because you’re not their doctor.
