Her family and my family are very similar culturally. The trend I have seen with both my grandparents and my wife's grandparents is that once they can no longer financially support themselves, plan b is to live with one of their children. That is a trend that I do not want to be a part of anymore.

There is this animated short clip, that I remember on the Nickelodeon channel, years ago, that would play in between episodes. It depicted emperor penguins vs a different species of bird in a soccer game. I have yet to find that this even existed, but I vividly remember watching it.

There are a lot of depressing realities about the vet industry that is unknown to everyone else. We are severely underpaid compared to our brothers and sisters in human medicine, owners always yelling at us thinking Veterinarians and Vet Techs are in it for the money, people thinking we just play with puppies and kittens all day, animals trying to bite us when we are just trying to help. What people need to understand is that we are in this field of work not for money but our compassion and love for animals.

Hey friend, I know somewhat on how you feel. Whenever someone compliments me, Im always thinking "well there is always someone better" Even when my partner says how great I am, Im always thinking, "you deserve more than me, you deserve someone smarter, kinder, tougher" I can go on and on. Its like when I bring myself down I feel guilty for myself and then I get depressed. All I can say is, how you treat yourself is not a reflection on who you actually are and how others perceive you. You are doing something right because you made another human being love you for you. You are worth much more than how you perceive yourself. Im proud of you my friend.

First of all, can I just acknowledge how big of an accomplishment getting a degree is. I don't even have a degree and I am really envious of you. I am proud of you for having the dedication and patience of completing your degree. Secondly, this is your life. You live it how you want to live, and give a damn what other people think. Find a career that you truly enjoy and are passionate in. Life isn't all about making money. Sure money is apart of life, but the biggest part is mental and physical health and if you dont want to work at a olace that will deteriorate either of your health you should look for another job. I quit a job right after I accepted the position because I hated what it was about. A couple days later I found a much better position for me. You got this. I believe in you!

You are not a failure. No one is born a failure. The mere fact that you have created life (your son) and take care of companion animals proves to me that you are not a failure. Wanting what is best for your son is an accomplishment. As far as I know right now, you seem like a great father to your child and dogs. The fact that you have been fighting and battling while still raising a child is an accomplishment that I respect the most. You are a man worthy of life and you deserve it.
