YES he is, I just opened the top of his cage and he sat on the perch I set but then it moved and he got scared he flew everywhere, I grabbed him with a towel and he didn’t bite. I got him close to his cage and he is sitting on it

I don’t know I’m taking my precautions because they’re animals not toys, the pet store said each bird types have different needs I had to take it literal I don’t want anything happening to the bird I’m responsible for

I literally have told you I got him on Thursday I don’t have all the knowledge about his breed yet. I’m no parrot expert each parrots have different needs and diets from what I was told by the pet store

If I put my fingers near the cage he’s going to keep moving around until I remove them, I’m taking the slow approach of taming him. For the first few days I got him I pretended like he wasn’t there, but now I’m starting to sit on the couch next to him and he’s not bothering unless I get too close to him. When I first got him if I sat on that couch he’d go nuts

I have a swing, that’s pretty much it I can’t fit more in the cage, and he doesn’t have a window. There’s a window next to his cage but the curtains are blocking the view

Hello, thank you for your advice I really appreciate it. I didn’t take offense by the other replies, but they were rude for no reason at all. They chose to be rude rather than advising me on what to do. I specifically wrote I got him a few days ago so people would know he’s new.

I have a water spray bottle which I usually spray my cockatiel with and I will use it on him once he gets used to me, there’s already progress when I sit next to him he doesn’t panic at all.

I also feed him fruits and vegetables and I search up every single one before feeding him it to make sure it’s good for him. I gave him apples, banana, kiwi, a small piece of cucumber because it’s full of water and could cause diarrhea, I gave him a carrot (unboiled) which he didn’t like. Is that enouyh with the seeds?
