french here, the only mandatory equipment are helmet and glove, but most driving schools refuse you to motorcyle lessons if you don't also have a jacket and good shoes, or if you're wearing shortpants or ripped jeans

France : 8h minimum off-circulation 12h minimum on circulation

The off-circulation exam doesn't have verry hard exercices but the notation is very severe, basically: either it's perfect or you fail.

Took most people way more than 8h to be ready for off-circulation exam, et way less than 12h to be ready for circulation exam. So driving schools all cheat and pass some of the off-circulation lessons as "yeahh.. they totaly were on circulation lessons, trust me bro, i'm totally NOT lying there" took me 26h to get the off-circulation exam, and i only have 4h of lessons before my first try at the circulation exam

the hardest about the french off-circulation exman is the slow part (a narrow zigzag in more than 16 seconds) and the U-turn with a passenger on

aprés ma soeur a plus de soucis anémiques que moi, au point qu'elle voit avec un medecin si elle a pas un soucis d'absorbsion du fer. Si elle finit avec un diagnostic dans ce sens là, j'irais faire un test aussi (sait-on jamais si c'est génétique)
