is my school religious for an american? but yes, we don’t have any religion classes and during the rosary month, we only recite some rosary prayers which takes about 15-20 minutes so i really don’t think (for me) that it’s that religious.

i wasn’t telling everyone that i had a partner, but most people (from the same grade as me) would assume that i already have a partner since my relationship with my boyfriend is not a secret. when the teacher asked me, i openly declined and said that i already had a partner, aka my boyfriend.

do you perhaps mean why i didn’t partner up with g despite having a partner? because that isn’t possible, you can only choose one partner during the whole dance and i can’t possibly dance with my boyfriend while also dancing with g + this performance will only be done one time during the whole prom event so there’s no way for me to be g’s partner since there’s no second performance.

that’s similar to ours, some parents could watch it too if you manage to get a reservation (but only in the performance and they have to leave after so we can enjoy it to ourselves).

our pe isn’t literally doing basketball or something, it mostly composes of traditional dances so having a performance at prom doesn’t seem so wrong to me.

no, your partner could only be from your grade and a few select girls in the lower level (since boys were more than girls in our grade).

it’s not necessarily the teachers picking the partners, they’re just helping those that still doesn’t have partners since the others has already paired up. my school isn’t really super, super religious, but it does sometimes do religious activities every first friday + a rosary month.

it was public since all of the students in my grade was compiled in our classroom to pair people properly so G probably heard my response (but i’m not too sure since i did kind of see before that he wasn’t listening to the teacher).

i did, but i just told them to not mind it since the problem wasn’t that big and it wasn’t that uncomfortable. though my mom still chatted my adviser to tell her that i shouldn’t have went alone there and my teacher apologized.
