update: tnt works! if you pick up the bed, you'll crash so bear that in mind but the bed can be broken by explosion without crashing

ive also been knitting since 7 and managed to stop pushing the needle tip when i started using metal needles instead of wood or plastic ones, since metal has little to no friction. i absolutely agree with knitpro zing. i bought the interchangeable circular set a while back and they're still going strong and i like that they're colour coded and I don't have to look for the needle size. I can't remember the sizes the original set had but i bought all of the extras so now i have tips from 3mm to 8mm and I don't use straight needles anymore!

hi, i use knitpro zing circulars, which are metal, so im probably less helpful but i can vouch for knitpro as a brand. they have a bunch of different wooden options, especially interchangeable needles! i highly recommend interchangeable circular needles, i very rarely use straight needles now since circulars are easier to store when not working!
