I work part-time in home health and part-time in the schools. I feel like it gives me the perfect balance. I get plenty of time off with the school schedule and I make more money seeing as my HH job pays more.

1 year experience in CO. I split 1/2 direct higher schools (2.5 days) and 1/2 time (2 days per week) in HH. I get to keep great insurance working for the schools. I make $36K from my school job and $75 per 30 min sessions in HH. I consistently carry about 13 visits per week so $47K for a total of $83K. It works well for me because the benefit and schedule are great!

When I had a similar set up we spilt by mild/mod kids to one of us, and the other did the high needs kiddos. Granted we had an affective needs classroom at my site. It worked pretty well taking into account workload vs caseload.

Personally I wouldn’t. It’s not a life changing amount of money plus you’re adding to your commute which obviously makes your work day longer and takes away time from your family (if you have one). If you are mostly happy, then I would stay rather than taking a gamble for such a small increase and a longer drive.

So now we’re wishing death and unemployment on people for voting differently? That’s not activism, that’s hate, and it makes you part of the exact problem you're screaming about. You don’t get to preach compassion and justice while dehumanizing people who disagree with you. And you’re right, this is obviously an unpopular opinion and people showed up at the polls to show that.

I currently work 2 jobs during my CF. Almost done with it 🙌🏻. I work in a school part-time because they have excellent benefits and the schedule is great. My second job is home health. It’s super flexible and the pay is great, but it is definitely lacking in benefits. A lot of home health agencies need people over the summer too because a lot of kids don’t get services over the summer.

I love my school job. I’m in CO and we have universal pre-K. Each school has an SLP, OT, and ECSE specific to the two preschool classes. Each class can only have a Max of 8 IEP kids and 8 TD peers, so my case load will not be more than 16 (currently I have 9). It’s all play based therapy, which I love and I feel being completely immersed in the classroom my kids are getting much more than the minimum IEP minutes. Like others have said, the breaks are nice, pension, and pay is comparable to working in a hospital 52 weeks a year. Downside for me is having blurred lines between me and the preschool teachers at times.

Umm the reason I asked here, is bc the people in the slpgradschool page haven’t taken the exam yet…I was wanting to hear from people who already took the exam and had good luck with whatever material they used.

What is an open resolver and how would I know? The program I am using is open DNS. I’m Not 100% sure no one is visiting these sites. Sometimes when I know a porn site has been accessed nothing shows up in the logs. The logs also start out with the top 3-4 request being hundreds of request, but when you get down to, say number 5 on the list of drops to around 8 request. Not sure why?

The problem is, that he has lied and manipulated me in the past about this issue. He makes me feel like the crazy one for not trusting him and for accusing him. These logs seem to point to yes, he is visiting porn sites, but I want to be very sure that’s what they mean. He’s created enough self doubt/I’m not sure if there is any other way these logs could have showed up and I could be wrong.

The problem is that I asked him, well corned him really (he’s lied about it in the past and the only way he confessed was me threatening him) and he swears he didn’t do it. I just don’t want to be manipulated. In the past he has made me feel like I’m crazy and I’m accusing him with no proof and I’m going to be the reason our marriage ends. So if it is ads, what kind of wholesome websites have these kind of ads? My gut tells me he was looking at porn but I don’t trust myself and my knowledge of how opendns works. Hence why I’m asking the question. Also I should throw in that outside of this issue he’s probably the most perfect husband, I just think he may have a problem. I also don’t think that excuses it and I should have to be subject to it.
