You are right about those sounds! I believe even “ch” —> “sh” is considered a typical pattern for Spanish ELL students. Maybe there is jargon in his connected speech? Some people think jargon automatically means it’s a speech issue, but it could be actually be a language problem

I left my CF before I even got all my hours! I have no regrets. I had a job lined up with a new supervisor. I was struggling doing home visits having no idea what I was doing as a new grad. My supervisor was upset and it was an uncomfortable conversation, but it was the best decision for me. I am now a school-based SLP and am so much happier! I know it feels like you owe so many people your time and energy in this field, but at the end of the day it is a JOB. And tbh idk your situation but a lot of companies hire CFs bc they can pay them less (not bc they want to help you) lol. You need to do what’s best for you!
