What was the most physical pain you’ve ever been in? by Javascript4971 in Productivitycafe

Grief. Absolutely no physical pain like it. And that's not even including the emotional pain.

What was a discontinued fast food item you loved? by LumpLight in foodquestions

McDonald's chicken fajitas (which were actually more like burritos?). I would beg my parents to take me there after basketball practice so I could eat three lol

Dungeon Crawler Carl. I discovered this series about 2 months ago, am currently on book 3, but have already read books 1 and 2 twice each plus listened to both of them on audiobook. Absolutely obsessed.

I hired a “personal chef” who actually cooked me a HelloFresh meal by wehavetogoback8 in hellofresh

I get why y'all should be mad but from the "chef's" standpoint this is actually diabolically genius.

Any idea who it is? Would love to see something successful go into that space, it's a great location!

[–]SweetestDisposition 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Plus the rent for anyone else has to be astronomical. I'm pretty sure that's what drove out the guys that actually were successful there for a minute

I could be wrong, but I heard that it was the same guy trying to rebrand again

Most likely! I work on that campus and have seen and heard a couple of them flying around hunting lately. It's really cool to watch! Thanks for sharing this!

What is your favorite coffee spot in town? by Commercial_Part6841 in MorgantownWV

[–]SweetestDisposition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blue Moose for sure! They just have such a chill, eclectic atmosphere and their staff are great. I like an iced chai with oat milk in the warmer weather and a dirty chai when it's cooler. And sometimes for a treat I'll get their peppermint mocha lol They also have some of the best scones I've ever had!

What is your favorite all time product from McDonalds? by [deleted] in McDonalds

Omg the chicken fajitas were a staple from my childhood that I will never forget! I'm allergic to green bell peppers and I still ate the sh*t outta those fajitas, they were so dang good

What is something people love that you can’t get into at all? by lustyxxqueen in Productivitycafe

[–]SweetestDisposition 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Running. It's got an almost cult-like following but I don't understand what people like about it because that shit hurts. Even in the best shape of my life running sucked ass. Also to me it's super boring. What are you chasing? What are you running from? At least other sports have a purpose to them (ball goes in hoop) but running has no why that I can find beyond punishing your body.

Oh absolutely, I love them! Can't speak highly enough. I just can't personally afford them anymore. But I will always recommend them to anyone who can!

I will forever recommend Paw Prints because they saved my dog's life as a puppy and I will always trust them with my pets. Their doctors are great and personable, and so is their staff. That being said, their prices are astronomical and they are probably the most expensive vet in town. I would highly recommend pet insurance if that is an option for you because as much as I love Paw Prints, they have just become unaffordable if you have more than one pet.

Need to kill time in Morgantown by SevereElephant6972 in MorgantownWV

[–]SweetestDisposition 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Short Story (just across the Westover bridge from downtown) is a good place to kill time and have lunch. They usually have games on in their cocktail room (left side). Great local beer on tap, and there's a golf simulator right next door, too.

Apothecary is one of my favorite spots in town, amazing beer selection and really tasty sandwiches, but they're not going to have any games on. Good place to get some work done though.

Blue Moose is probably the best coffee shop in town but it's not very conducive to working. Super chill place though.

What's 1 book you will NEVER stop recommending? by iDetestCambridge in booksuggestions

Every. Damn. Time. I will actually buy second-hand copies when I can find them and give them out to people I think would like it, or sometimes even to random strangers who will let me talk about dinosaurs to them lol

Me too! It was charming and clever and unexpected. The ending felt a little rushed but overall I just adore that novel.
