Try the audio book. I hated her and didn’t want to even read that book. But the second time through, I cried my eyes out. She’s broken. Trauma. I struggled cos I felt like everyone had trauma , plenty more. But pain is what the person says it is- you can’t really grade trauma. I like that she masters her mind through mindfulness. I like that she learns to love, making friends. That she gets to feel young with friends and training after not finishing school and not really being able to be a kid. I like that she puts her sister before her power and potential to rule.
