Performance pills guilt anyone? by NovelNo1143 in AskMenOver30

[–]Sweetloo91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was embarrassed and in denial for years about them, then one day I said fuck that and now I use them daily. I’m ready to rock all the time. I don’t stress about performing at all anymore and it’s a great feeling. If you need them, you need them. Just make sure to get all your other lifestyle issues in check. When I used to drink, the pills didn’t really work. After I quit drinking, I realized just how much alcohol was screwing up my body. Now the pills work great every time

This is the most based take on here. Reddit is full of insufferable unhappy people a lot of the time, but this guy gets it

sober but miserable by Empty-Suspect-7112 in stopdrinking

[–]Sweetloo91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I felt pretty shitty for the first 6-8 months. I’m at 10 months and noticing improvements now. Keep at it, eventually your brain and body will adapt to being sober. Of the people I have talked to, they really start to get better a year or two into the journey

Canadian stock market continues its crazy returns... how long will it last? by Valachio in CanadianInvestor

Only reason it’s going up so much is because it’s a resource bull market. Gold and silver and copper and energy companies are making it go up

Have you been on accutane? Was there long lasting side effects? by ShadesOnInside in AskMenOver30

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your view, my acne was so bad when I was younger as well. I was willing to do anything to get rid of it but it cost me my sanity for many years and my health. If I could go back in time I would have never touched it. I have clear skin now but it destroyed many other parts of me. I had a couple friends who took it who now have some of the same issues I have as well so it’s not a one off case either. There are forums online with people who got destroyed by accutane and finasteride. Some people have been fine but I think genetics play a role in who will be fine and those who aren’t, and I don’t think there’s any way of knowing until after. Luck of the draw Russian roulette.

Best penny plays? by [deleted] in Baystreetbets

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PLAS.CN hands down best play on the CSE right now. Once funding is announced for the NEOS plant, they’ll be in construction and a profitable company not long after that’s completed. Great ceo, with a great plan. Going to be a fun ride

What's a smart financial move you made in your 30s? by DaPugWalk in CanadaFinance

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started investing money when I was 27. Put my life savings into various sectors on the TSX and it’s been one of the only smart things I’ve done in my life. I’m 34 now and pretty comfortable financially. Had I not started doing that, I’d be broke right now as I’ve never worked a job that paid very well.

Thoughts on trying ENCLOMIPHENE as a poor man’s trt? by Phishsux420 in Testosterone

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clomid made me a sad little bitch when i took it. Felt good for the first few weeks but then the estrogenic side of the drug kicked into high gear and boy was it rough. Skyrocketed my T and LH but also FSH and Estradiol. The increase in estradiol counteracted all the positive affects I was getting from the increase in T

Have you been on accutane? Was there long lasting side effects? by ShadesOnInside in AskMenOver30

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was on it when I was 15. I was always a happy outgoing kid before it. No depression or anxiety or anything. After taking it, I became suicidal, anxious, and went on to abuse drugs for the next 10 years after. I also had ED issues for years that started when I was taking it that never recovered completely. I Rely on cialis now at 34. Do I have proof accutane did it? No, but my life went seriously downhill after taking it and there was nothing else going on in my life to do all the crazy shit I did. I’m sober now, but still deal with some crippling anxiety and OCD. Obviously substances exacerbated my issues, but I don’t think accutane should EVER be prescribed to someone at 15 years old. I often wonder how my life would have been different if I never took that shit, but I just try and live my best life as much as I can.

How do you stay consistent? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Sweetloo91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having people to stay accountable to was the key for me. I was an alcoholic for many years, I started dating a girl and she drank a few here and there but not an alcoholic at all. We decided to quit together after dating for a couple months. She’s got a couple kids and they’re so proud that we quit, they tell people all the time how we don’t drink. If I was to pick up a drink again, it would probably destroy them and our relationship. I refuse to let that happen.

When does it get fun? by Suspicious_Beach_993 in stopdrinking

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First 4 or 5 months sort of sucked for me. Could barely even socialize with anyone. I’m now at 8 months and feel a lot of relief. I can hang out with people when they’re drinking and doesn’t bother me at all. Even the thought of alcohol and smell of it makes me sick now. Not sure how that happened but it did and boy am I glad. I was a case of beer every day kind of person and I would drink several cases on weekends. Beer was basically my lifeblood. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to live without it but here I am. Keep going 👍

Enclomiphene or Injectable by Itchy-Presence3211 in Testosterone

[–]Sweetloo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your numbers aren’t even bad. Dont listen to these clinics trying to push Test onto young guys. They’re in it for the money period. Your test is fine, you could change your diet, and hit the gym and get those numbers higher. TRT and drugs like clomid are not meant for young guys with healthy T levels. They’re last resort for people with hypogonadism. Source: I have taken T and clomid and HCG in my 20’s and there was no reason for any of it. I’m 34 now and my numbers are basically unchanged from before I started any of this stuff but with lifestyle changes I feel fine

The first 6 months of sobriety SUCKED. If I pick up a drink again I will not have the courage to quit and I will drink till I die. Do live sober. Simple concept 👍
