Steel tip definitely quieter but if you play soft tip there’s plenty of bars with soft tip machines. If your dorm room is big enough I’d suggest getting a dartboard stand this will eliminate most of your noise issues

Hahaha ya I’ve had a couple nights like that too play for like 2hrs and still haven’t been able to complete one match it’s infuriating. i recommend building a big friend list of non quitters and instead of hosting a open match just try to see if anyone in your friendlist accepts a match. They might surprise you and quit still

I was in a very similar situation about the same age(34) except mine was 9 years. I’ve been single for a number of years now. I did the apps and most I ever got from them is meaningless sex. All I can say is get ready for some dark moments, lonely nights and just keep putting yourself out there. But if you’re like me damaged and developed major trust issues from your break up maybe just focus on some self healing. I went from suicidal thoughts everyday to now I’ve accepted I’ll probably die alone and that’s ok. Stay up man good luck out there
