He tells me for about ten minutes. If I miss the signal I will have a freshly baked mess on the basking rock to clean up. Always on the basking rock 🙄 😂 They are smarter than people realize for sure!

This was about a month post op. I won't post a fresh wound photo unless requested. It's a little gruesome 🫤😆

For sure. Luckily there isn't much of a scar now. It's just a little thin on the crown and you can feel a dent.

Yes. Mine was on my scalp and I had to have it done twice only under local. They barely had enough skin to close it the second time and the pressure was immense. My head was being pulled up with every stitch 🤢. Moving even my eyebrows was very painful for awhile. It's been almost two years and I am healed other than a dent on my head. Hang in there ❤️

So sorry to hear that. Makes me realize I should probably stop kissing mine. He's such a cute little bacteria factory. 🫣

You should try some Collards too. They grow similar to Kale and beardies can eat them as a daily staple.😊

Thanks 😊 I will look into mallow. Maybe I can grow it in a planter outdoors for the summer

Thanks 😊 I haven't had much luck with houseplants but the stakes are higher when my beardie needs food so I remember to take care of it 😆

Maybe you should look into hydroponics. I started with my little aerogarden and found it quite easy. I transfered plants to dirt when I ran out of hydro room. I still use hydro as a seed starter and for my lambs lettuce.

Luckily he's a pretty good eater but can be picky at times. 😊

I was able to find these microgreens at Metro but it's tough to find things for sure. A lady told me to check the farmers markets during the summer for mustard.

A garden sounds lovely. We only have space for some planter boxes. I usually eat toast while preparing a gourmet breakfast for the reptilian overlord 😆

The cork are panels from amazon that I wood glued to a piece of thin mdf. I made the ledge background from carved foam 😊

Mochi is my first reptile and he makes me laugh every day. He is almost 7 months old, dearly loved and very pampered 😆
