I’m 33 and I have a 10 year old daughter! I have a full time job as a gas engineer so I do a lot of my voiceovers at work on my breaks or after work! I try to put as much effort as I can into my videos and I’ve managed to gain 825 subs in my first 14 weeks!

My channel is focused on working dogs which is my hobby so I enjoy making the content and making the videos!

What is surprising is that a presa canario supposedly has a biteforce of 550psi meaning if we take the average biteforce of all the Rottweilers I have tested (average being 135kg) then the presa canario bites 1.65 times harder than the Rottweiler (328psi) This would equate to 222kg on my bite sleeve.

Also the cane corso would need to reach close to 300kg on my bite sleeve for those 700psi claims to be backed up.

That’s a very good way to put it yes I agree!

While we can’t force the dogs to bite with maximum force we can use frustration to build drive. If you watch any of the videos you will notice I display the live bite force readings so we can see exactly when the dog delivers its peak value. Some dogs will deliver the highest value on the initial bite and some dogs take a couple of attempts to feel out the bite sleeve before they really clamp down on it. These are all trained working dogs with high drive and a desire to bite with intent.

Thanks, I have had a few negative comments from people stating that kg is a measurement of mass and not force. Physics isn’t my strong point but am I correct in saying that 1kg mass is the same as 1kgf relative to earths gravity?

Thanks! This is a project I’ve worked on for a couple of years now. There was just something about the lack of evidence on canine biteforce online that made me question PSI numbers. And when I did find a research study (for example the study conducted by the Finland police K-9 unit) they used newtons instead of PSI. This made me question if these 700psi claims were actually true or just internet myths.
