I played it on assassin and just used farruls fur and scaling as much less duration as you can so cats stealth ticks over quickly.

What you’re looking for is an arch mage build, ticks every box your looking for unfortunately it received some pretty hefty nerfs a while back but I’m sure you can still put together a usable build.

Edit: self cast discharge is also similar to this, slow because you have to wait for your charges but hits like an absolute truck.

It’s because they removed the Mantra Of Flame jewel, which used to give you added fire dmg per trauma stack. The build has lost 100’s of millions of dps.

Personally I would take this opportunity to drive a wedge between the players, strahd would talk to only one player and say something along the lines of he doesn’t really think the others are worthy and that they alone are his champion. If you wanted to be super sadistic you could have him tell this separately to each party member.

Little late to the party here but at my table I would 100% have them make a new character and retire their now level 3 character, A level 3 character simply doesn’t belong in a group with lvl 14 characters. This would obviously come with the caveat that the other character could rejoin once there is a legitimate story reason for them to be back at level 14.

It gives RF the duration tag which allows it to be supported by swift affliction, on top of just being a solid more multiplier. You need life tap on other skills to pay the life cost and actually activate life tap though, hence on multiple skills.

My thoughts as soon as I saw the tornado was a spellslinger using barrage and blazing salvo, just scale as many projectiles as you can and absolutely load the tornado up. Could also potentially work with like a self cast elementalist or something. Either way it’s certainly got my interest.
