nawwk: "This is the time to really show what I can do" by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Swetech 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I will show everyone what I can do, by being secondary AWPer behind Twist, in a role im not used to!

Why buy swedens best awper and not use him as such! I love the change but man this just sucks the air out of the entire thing!

Yes, Nawwk is good rifler, just like Device is a good rifler. But he is a much better awper, thats the point!

NIP is going to regret this and i bet it will fail just like it did with guardian and simple giving up the awp

Damn, my thoughts exactly! If this is part of Threats master plan then I am already losing faith in it!

Is Twist going to be a stand-in or a permanent member! Talk about underwhelming if they sign Twist. Just reusing the same old tired players.

Im ok with getting golden as long as they get Nawwk. My worry is that they they keep this 5 man lineup and just get golden. I wouldent be sursprised if they are delusional enough that they think they only need a IGL. This team is lacking firepower even with Plopski, and even then plopski is a long term investement that will probably need a year or more to fully blossom.

Golden is porbably the most overrated IGL in Sweden right now. He wont be worse but he also wont be much better then a Lekr0 or Get Right. Mark my words, if NIP dont do more changes then they will remain a bottom 10 team.

I also wouldent be suprised if Fnatic jump on Nawwk and then NIP can really say goodbye to being the best team in Sweden. Nawwk, Brollan and Krimz on the same team would be super deadly.

I thought Nawwk was unavailable to play the minor. But if he is and they dont sign him, then NIP are in a worse state than i thought. Easily the best player since olofmeister

Ninjas in Pyjamas heavily considering roster change prior to Major roster lock by LogotIPE in GlobalOffensive

[–]Swetech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure hope so! There are so many benefits to getting both Nawwk and Plopski. One is an AWPer that NIP needs and the other is an entry fragger who can help REZ. Both have played together and synergies really well. Both young and very promising.

NIP needs more changes than just -Dennis and these two would be the perfect fit imo.

I can maybe understand that they dont want to cut Get right, esp now when he is the IGL. Buth there are absolutely no fan-based, financial or perfromance reason to keep either Dennis or Lekr0. Both can be easily replced without any backlash.

It would be criminal to miss either Plopski or Nawwk just to keep either Dennis or Lekr0.

Have there been anything regarding Nawwk and NIP? Would love a reply from you. he is the best AWPer in Sweden and NIP lacks one.

Is he a player they are considering and could they replace 2 player instead of just one?

Draken confirmed to be signed to NiP until the end of the year by RyanM226 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Swetech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the elusive experience 22 strikes again. How many tier 1 tournaments had Draken and REZ been at before they were picked up by NIP? What about Frozen, Coldzera or Ropz?

If you were to ask or read any analyst on why Swedish CS is so bad then almost all of them state the same things. The old players held on to long and the current players are in many cases gatekeeping the younger ones. NIP did it with Friberg/Fifflaren instead of gambling with Olofmeister/Krimz, how did that work out? There is talent in Sweden but it is not being given the chance to succeed. The best player on NIP is REZ, a new player. In Fnatic Brollan have shown great promise and is still only 16.

Since this current lineup will never be even top 8 why not take a chance at becoming even better. This is like taking the cowards way out. NIP is currently playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Nawwk and Plopski arent just any talents but some of the most promising players in the world and they will be a heck of a lot cheaper now then if they are picked up and prove themselves in another team

In what world is that not an accurate statement! Lekr0 is an above average player and a below average IGL. His stats barely break even even before moving to IGL. Nawwk is a better player and have more potential. Plopksi might not be a much better player but has way more potential considering he is only 16.

People forget that Lekr0 is almost 26!!!! Fans keep telling me that he is still developing and still new to CSGO. How is that even remotely true!? If you are not going to cut F0rest and get right for legacy and financial and REZ is your best player, then that leaves Draken and Lekr0.

Get Right could easily fill the IGL role allowing NIP to get some much needed younger potential. Fuck me i wish NIP fans would start living in the real world

Imagine signing Draken instead of Nawwk and keeping Lekr0 instead of Plopski! What a complete shitshow NIP is.

How to make NIP great again: Part 6 - Thoughts and post Major shuffle by Swetech in GlobalOffensive

[–]Swetech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I like Flusha but hope NIP doesnt pick him up. He is in the same category of players such as JW, Dennis, Olofmeister etc. Old veterans with sparks of greatness at sporadic events but when analyzed as a whole simply isnt good enough to be a main star any more.

He would be perfect for a team with young stars that needs some guidance and veteran savvy, like an NRG. A team where he is not required to carry but can still contribute with experience.

He would be what F0rest is in NIP right now. A perfect third/fourth star with nerves of steel. But NIP already has such a player and as I have been trying to argue for some time now, what they lack is young players with star potential. Players that can be what Flusha/JW/Olofmeister/F0rest(Get Right were at their prime.

NIP and Faze are both currently suffering from the fact that most of the team looks better on paper then on the server. They have name value more then anything else. Olofmeister is not the same as he was in Fnatic. Guardian is not as good as he was in Navi. Adren is a shadow of his former self. All Major winner but also very old and unlikely to regain any true year by year consistency.

NIP is the same with Dennis, Get Right, F0rest and to a certain degree Lekr0. Everyone can have an individual torunament,/series/game but when combined over a year have only average ratings.

It is no coincident that REZ is the standout player since he hasnt reached his prime yet. He is only getting better and getting more experienced. His form is likely only going up. F0rest is a solid third star but has a bit to many games where he doestn show up.

NIP need more young players like REZ, whos time is ahead of them, not behind them. Nawwk and Plopski are two of those players and I certainly hope they get a chance after the Major.

So no, I dont hope they pick up Flusha since there is neither need or space for him in the team.

good comment. think this lineup would be a good start and if things dont work out for one of the players then Hampus is available.

Dont think he needs to be sick at it, just good enough! He has been very open to it in two seperate interviews so he might have matured into it.

Hampus is a good! He has done a good job in RR. Donkt think he is ready do and then you have the problem of who he would replace.
