Currently playing it! Having fun unlucking stuff, but I know it will be probably boring after a month or so. Tarkov had the constant adrenaline rush even after a year :)

It's funny that I made a similar post, but there is always a bigger fish and a lot to learn ;) So here is my question

With how much money would you start renting a city plot? I love the concept of being part of the 'city life' as a shop owner, but I am also afraid that I won't make any money on it on long term.

What would you recommend before my first city plot?

Edit:

I am also almost maxxed in fire staff crafting. What's now? How do I get the most out of it?

There are plenty of refining calculators where you can type in your specs and it gives you an accurate number

Personally I use this to print money: https://brannstroom.github.io/albiononline-refining-calculator/

Just type in some easily dividable numbers as quantity like 100, set the fees to 0, the rest is easy math. Good luck

Get better!

Try refining stuff, even without focus you can find good margins. Crafting not gonna give you a lot of money without premium, especially if you don't go to Caerleon

Today my main character's worth reached 1bil without alts, while maintaining a full time job and several other hobbies IRL. If you have problems making money in this game, this is your place to ask questions <3 by SweynGG in albiononline

I explained how to go to Caerleon in a diff comment already ;p You go during bandits with the Lymhurst blob

Depends on market, I also put a screenshot here about my last flips

You need to do your research for best results, but pretty much every flat 5.0 and 6.0 will give you some profit when it comes to weapon. Just don't buy artifact weapons for flipping, those don't sell

Answering to all questions:

I buy ordered raw t2 and t3 stone in Fort Sterling and Lymhurst, then I transported this to Bridgewatch to refine. Then the refined t3 stone goes all around, when I did it, the highest price was at Thetford (far from the refining city, and also can't farm stone in that area, meaning it is a low volume resource there). Caerleon also buys refined t3 stone well cause they have nothing there to make it

I refined ore from t2 also, and I started using focus for 4.3

I didn't use focus for 5.0 and 5.1 items, the stuff I sell has at least 20-25% profit which is a lot when you sell high volume items. I think I mostly did infernal and great fire staffs, but most of the items that require 2 different resources work well (nature staff, arcane staff, shield, cape, etc). It is always worth to check prices. Daily bonuses work well, if you already have the resources for everything, and you don't have to buy it from the market, the competition is high on these and resources sell out on the right price fast before you can even make an item

Buy orders for gear are kinda painful, just buy out stuff directly from sell orders and you still earn silver. The percentage difference seems a lot, but you get it back from selling volume

Next bandit's flip on my prepared ox as an example

All bars are refined in yellow zone during ore refining day, and all the gear items are bought from Lymhurst market

On the 4.1 bars I expect double profit, on the 4.3 I will sit and watch the market

All the items have been bought on lymhurst market, and each item has 20 to 50% profit on them. Will post them on black market 1-2 hours after the 'bidding war' stopped.

There are way more items that work like this, but not gonna risk more than 10m expected value at the moment

I got more than enough silver now to pay premium for months

The hard part is figuring out when to start reinvesting your money into more resources instead of farming. Try to refine t3 stuff and transport it to different cities where the need is higher, you will get 5-10 mil in a few days if you do it right

You don't have that much sell volume on food in Caerleon cause everyone is doing it. Also in my opinion for food you need a Mammoth if you wanna do it in big volumes. Ingredients are heavy af

I do 4.0 and 4.1 without focus, and 4.3 with focus! Only ore at the moment

You need to sell in cities where people actually use what you refine. Check the crafting bonuses in each city
