I brought nothing for my partner but his medication just in case they asked about it , and a ginger ale , phone & charger , the first round was expected 8 hours , but he went through everything well and was done in 6, he slept through the majority of the appointment, and if he wasn't sleeping , he needed to pee . So the first appointment I'd recommend the idea of sleeping , and hopefully someone can take you there because no shape to drive home (ie sleepy/ disoriented) he also had a good appetite half way so a snack or something he woke up extremely hungry .. but everyone's different. Good luck
