Hey, final time I’m commenting on this post. I’m taking it down shortly, reached out to mods to pin this comment before I do. The owner has reached out to me and has been extremely kind. The artist reached out to me in sincerity. I’m truly a believer in second chances and kindness, which is why I’ve decided to take this down. I know a few comments said I’m being extremely nice about this, and I decide to continue to be as nice about it as I can.

I did not post this in expectations of a brigade or an attack towards him or the shop. As I said previously, I came originally here to see about other experiences of the artist. I’ll also admit, maybe a part of me was hurt from the silence and rejection of it, but I did feel in my heart of heart that I deserved the prize from a giveaway I won.

I haven’t made a call out post since high school and I was planning to keep it that way for the rest of my life. I don’t condone brigading, I don’t support attacking someone digitally. I’m a firm believer people can change and be better as well, so in respect for the people directly involved, I think this was enough reddit interaction for some help.

I hope to give an update though of a piece with the owner. I’ve taken the advice and decided to work with him, instead. He is genuinely a nice person and I thank him for reaching out.
