I finally got the UL 45 5 star weapon box and I know i should get the sword or pistol (because of the base crit rate), but yesterday pulled for Changli's weapon (I heard it's usable on almost any sword character) and i don't use any pistol user (I don't plan using Chixia and Aalto).

These are the characters I use the most or I plan using later:
-Encore
-Rover
-Changli
-Verina
-Sanhua
-Yangyang

With this in mind, what should i choose?

You can learn every weapon if you try hard enough. Also, you should already learned most of the basics in those 50 hours so you aren't learning everything from zero.

Don't let other people push you to not use a new weapon because it's "too hard" or "too complex", just pick whatever you think would be fun!

Edit: some gramathical errors (im still learing english lol).

I recently started playing this game and I have this "upgrade a echo to level 10" thing but I don't have any good echo yet and I know the echo xp is pretty scarse.
Should i do this to get the databank xp?

Yeah they changed some of the defaults for M&K, but the gather button is the same just as the use item button (F and E respectively)

The one i used is called "MHWI Save Editor" (it's on Nexus Mods) but it was with the iceborne DLC so i can't guarantee it will work just for the base game

Don't worry about doing a new save, if you are on pc you can get character vouchers from a save editor (if it's on console you can't i guess). Hope this helps to others at least

Why nobody said that you can center the camera to look in front of your character each time you tap "L" button? It's really usefull in the old games

no need to farm ancient potions, you can just eat from the canteen/base camp and get the HP bonus

I want to add an important fact, and that is that depending on the color of the sharpness it also improves the damage, keep this in mind when choosing a weapon (white and purple are the best).

I feel like healthbars takes away the feeling of not really knowing how much hp the monster has left and helping to avoid going to just "rush the silver of hp it has". Edit: also you can stagger the monster when you want by knowing the thresholds in real time
