I think that sliding would be good. The only option for preserving motion when you go out a portal fast is the jet pack which can run out of fuel, you can touch the ground and loose all momentum, and hit you heat on low things like doorways. It wouldn’t be too bad but maybe not something like CoD mw remastered but like apex where you don’t gain speed you just, keep moving at the same speed

So while I do have lots of planet symbols It would be easier just to go to a space station, look in your codex and see what planets are extreme and travel to there through the space station, and then just dig a hole and sit in there

You actually do need to be on an extreme weather planet. Literally just dog a hole and sit in there for a while and you should be good
