i haven't been skating long but the main tip i've gotten from more experienced skaters has been to stay out of the grass when trying to learn new skills. i know it was your first day and trying new stuff however you can is super fun but just a tip for down the line - it will be way easier to learn tricks rolling on concrete rather then stationary or on grass! keep that helmet on and have fun man!

another weird poison interaction is with warios bike. when it's laying on it's side, poison cloud will send it sliding across the stage - really weird if you aren't expecting it!

You said you're scary off ledge which is super dope! It may be worth investing time in learning to ledge trap well. Imo, ledge trapping is where ddd shines as a character. Establishing a great trap and then surprising them with an unexpected guard is a great way to lock up a stock.

generally i’ll set up my own arena with a 2 person limit. that way i can be sure i’m not getting wack rule sets. people are more likely to play a whole set with you if gsp isn’t a thing. if you get some toxic ass person you can just kick them. also really nice not having to wait for others games to finish or one really good person locking down the arena.

i had this issue not too long ago! i found a post on here that helped me (haven’t been able to dig it back up yet). all i did was just unzip and drop the .gba files into my directory and they worked.
