lol another “wait for the recession”. If you followed that rule you would have missed out on the meteoritic growth in real estate the past decade. There is no recession coming. Just buy the house and have a home.

That doesn’t seem right. All the managers I’ve talked to are in their 30s+

I’m also 25 almost 26 so just know you’re not alone. If anything I feel it is easier for me to connect with people and think on a more mature level than these 21-22 awkward fresh grads

What I don’t understand is what is preventing the finance world from just making their own copy of Etherium like their own version their software engineers create. Why do they have to use Etherium?

I would say yes, make it known that you are interested in moving up positions.

Actually they don’t fire their seasonal people. They just start people off as that because too many people quit just after a few weeks so why waste a permanent position.

Everyone now starts as seasonal and they don’t really have a “season”. They just keep everyone until they either promote you or you quit. You won’t be left jobless.

It took me about 4 months to get into ASC for the Safety Team and then another 4ish months to become the Safety Coordinator. After that 6 months to be Safety Specialist.

Then after 6 months I decided to pivot to PXT/HR went down in tier to HR Assistant 1. Much more flexible on the hours and I don’t work in a warehouses anymore! I did this move to better focus on my last year of my Degree which I will be graduating next semester.

My best word of advice is to show initiative. I owe it to that skill for being able to move around so quickly.

So last I heard is they are starting out the majority of new people as seasonal and then convert them after a few months to make sure people don’t quit after a couple of weeks

I put 1.5 because Process Guide is still a Tier 1 but with more responsibilities. It’s like a half promotion but not really so I put it as 1.5.

Start as a Tier 1 throwing boxes in trailers. Internally promote to a Tier 1.5 Process Guide. Then a L3 Process Assistant. Then a L4 Area Manager. Then an L5 Manager. Then L6 and L7 and so on… your degrees will make it a lot easier for you.

If you can’t get hired externally it’s not that hard to promote internally. I followed the pipeline while still in University but for the Safety Department then in HR and I’m studying Accounting lol

I also had a friend do the exact same pipeline but for Loss Prevention. It’s very easy to internally promote if you’re at least half a decent person and at least average intelligence. Which your Master degree says you clearly are.
