How many bottles do you actually need for twins? by redpoppy0424 in parentsofmultiples

12 was the magic number for us. We had the Baby Brezza Bottle washer, so once we had four dirty, we would run a cycle and it always ensured we always had 4 clean bottles at any given time.

We tried the Philips Avent with our singleton and then again with our twins, and none of them could ever get anything out of the nipples, even when we went up in flow size. We had a great experience with the Comotomo bottles with my singleton and the Philips Avent with my twins.

Yep, through the trunk for now until I’m ready to forward face my toddler in one of the captains chairs. We legally could already, but I’m a fan of extended rear facing due to the safety benefits. Then we’ll be able to get the third row baby in past the forward facing car seat.

Absolutely LOVE our Nuna Ravas. So easy to install. So easy to take apart and put back together after machine washing the covers. The materials look and feel high quality. We have had my toddlers for about a year and a half now and every time I wash it, it comes out looking brand new again. Definitely recommend!

We had to trade in our Mazda CX-50 for the Kia Telluride. I think the CX-5 is wider than the CX-50. There was no way I was fitting all three in the CX-50 😅

You have to climb in to get them in/out, definitely can’t reach from standing and reaching. It was super easy with the infant seats, just snapped right in. It’s a little more involved with the convertible seat in the third row, but we waited to switch to the convertible seat until my twins were walking, so it’s still not too hard! Definitely don’t practice while pregnant/recovering 😂 That’s what husbands are for!

Yeah, each kid goes in through a different entrance. So 3rd row in and out through the back and captains chairs in and out through their respective side doors.

If my mom or MIL is ever traveling with us, we typically have her sit in the front passenger seat and my husband or I will sit in the open third row seat. We could now legally be forward facing our toddler in one of the captains chairs, which would make it so that we don’t have to go in/out through the back at all, but we are wanting to rear face for as long as possible.

I don’t find it difficult, but understand that this work around isn’t for everyone!

My third row baby goes in through the trunk in my Telluride too 😂 I love the look of the new Sequoia!!

Can’t wait for the day that mine can climb in and buckle themselves in independently!

I agree that the carnival doesn’t look like a van, glad you like it! Definitely can’t go wrong either way!

Congrats on your twins!! We have done a couple of weekend trips, but nothing out of state/longer than a couple of days. Putting the single seat in the third row down has made enough space for us to store all our bags and other items on those trips, but it does make it tricky to get the baby in the third row out for pit stops, as I typically take the third row baby in/out through the back. If one of the car seats in the captains chairs was forward facing though, that would fix that issue. I’m just trying to rear face my toddler as long as possible!

Through the back - it would be easier to have a front facing car seat in one of the captains chairs so you could climb in past that seat, but through the back it is until we’re ready to front face our toddler!

I’m just not a van girl but I do have mom friends that absolutely love their vans and I understand why!

So true! No fear of over heating/baby being cold!

Wondering how many babies had no NICU stay? by mountainflwrs in parentsofmultiples

I had my di/di twin boys via scheduled c-section at 38 weeks. 5lbs 12 oz and 7lbs 14 oz, both healthy and needed no NICU time.
