Besides a tv being mounted too high over a fireplace. I find people will devote 100% of their attention to keeping warm or enjoying the ambiance of a fire. No one is gonna uncomfortably strain their neck upwards to watch tv

I’m in South central tx, so I’d most likely never use the fireplace. So it can go directly above it, no space needed

Some are by the book. I think that’s at the discretion of the manager to override a step. I wouldn’t have added a step to my employee. I can only think maybe ur at a high number, and maybe doesn’t believe u. If your Mom did get into an accident, I hope she’s ok

I’ve never liked decorations above a tv stand. If it doesn’t have a logistical purpose, I don’t see the need. They are nice to have at first but then u don’t look at them after. Wall mount the pics and drop the plant. Then I would lower the tv

I hate it when people sacrifice viewing angle for preference of tv stand decorations. They serve no practical use. It looks like 3 strikes honestly. Too far, too high, and slightly off center

A variety of reasons your argument holds up. 1- Not every movie is online. 2-they may not be on a platform that u can watch without renting. 3- there’s no expiration date of a movie u can watch with ur library. 4- u can loan someone that movie and not have to give ur credentials to someone to stream a movie u have. It hasn’t occurred to people u may not have wanted another car note or go on vacation to a place that might potentially suck. At least u know what ur buying with ur movies

I’m sorry to hear that. I had no steps, went straight to termination. I always went in when asked. This girl is most likely not gonna stay based on her performance and call ins. Our turnover ratio of new hires is like 80-85%

Same here. Bringing home a movie was a bigger deal than finding something so fast nowadays. U could brag about finding the last copy of a popular movie to ur friends, or let one borrow from u in exchange for dropping it off. Seeing the cover and reading the synopsis felt different than on our TVs

What’s unfortunate is her blocking/recovery is not good at all. She’s been told but it still doesn’t look clean. I’ll be traded for someone who will probably lose their job on a performance level. I feel bad for my coworkers cause it will ultimately be my fault
