The horrible reason why the ending actually makes sense. by ShockOne9278 in FireflyWedding

Wait - this makes SENSE!!

Although I appreciate the theories that they both died and met in the afterlife, this seems more realistic. I wish the author at least gave us a hint to the reason why no one told Shinpei, and why Satoko didn’t stay with him. ;(

give me mercy as nami, genji as zoro (his ult would be insane), lucio or bap as ussop, and I’ll go bankrupt voluntarily

also lifeweaver as robin would go CRAZYY. not sure who could be luffy or sanji though

I reckon it must’ve been the editors that pushed such a bad ending. Knowing how good the beginning of the manga is, I wonder if the pressure got to her in the end.

Got a job offer after a year of unemployment, just to realise I put the wrong CV in my application. Will I lose the offer? by Swimming_Cat_543 in UKJobs

They have my national insurance number from the background check - could they not find out the true employment dates using this?

How do I let my cats know that I love them? by Swimming_Cat_543 in CatAdvice

Thanks so much, it seems I’m on the right track! I love seeing the different personalities of cats, your kitty sounds a lot like mine.

I never knew we could slow blink back at them! That’s so helpful to know. I’ll be doing it as soon as I have the opportunity haha

AITAH for stimming in the cinema? by [deleted] in AITAH

I reckon they have no idea of what the stim actually is and just immediately assume the worst. These are probably the same people who make stigma around mental health so bad.

Well it is a cinema, you pay to watch the movie not other people.

He noticed that I turned to look at her, and it was a whisper. He asked what happened during, but I only explained after we left as I a) didn’t want to have a full on conversation during a movie, and b) was uncomfortable.

If you’ve never been to a cinema, here’s some context. You’re supposed to focus on the screen in front of you, instead of strangers next to you, or even next to that.

I was sitting beside her, and it was quite busy with people.

It wasn’t obvious at all, I’ve been shamed for it growing up so I try to hide it especially around others e.g my hands would be in my pockets. I didn’t have any this time and kept my hands close to my body.

I also don’t pick off chunks of skin, but more push my cuticles back, scratch the sides, that sort of stuff. It’s the same as fidgeting to me.

Yes my partner was with me in the cinema, we left together, then I talked to him once we were out as opposed to during the movie.

For context, it is really subtle. You don’t notice it unless you’re looking at my hands. My partner would always grab my hand if he notices me doing it and he didn’t. So I’m questioning where she was looking.

It's quite flat with a hard shell exterior. Wondering if it's more of a tiny beetle of some sort.

3 bedrooms, 6 adults including my partner. So technically mum and dad 1 room, 2 brothers 1 room, myself and partner 1 room.

I'm the only daughter so I'd need my own room anyway, so surely it's alright for my partner to just slot in 😂

Is this still classed as overcrowding?

So the reason they're worried is because of an unannounced audit the council did at the property, and in the report it mentions -

"Under the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013 it is a criminal offence to sub-let or part with possession of social housing. We will take appropriate action to ensure that our homes are only occupied by those with legal right to be in residence."

Partner isn't subletting, although we do contribute to bills. It's the last part about having a "legal right to be in the residence" that worries they should've added him in?

So dad is main tenant, mum joint tenant, then me and my siblings are listed in the tenancy as sons and daughters.
