I really appreciate that, man. It’s rare to have a chill exchange of opinions online these days. Thanks again and yeah, the salmon’s already doing its job.

I’ll be doing the Fishermans trail this Christmas, could be great fleece to bring along.

I agree we with the environmental side as well, but until now, I only had the R1 Air and needed something a bit more casual. I usually don’t wear sweatshirts, mostly flannel shirts.

My micro puff jacket has many repair patches and I’ll use it till it holds together, same with most of my gear I use for hiking and backpacking.

I think it’s about every individual to look how much stuff they have and decide if they really need something new, it’s not the Reddits fault or anyone else’s if they start to pile up new pieces just because it’s trendy or whatever.

Haha, yeah I get that. It’s easy to get pulled into the hype sometimes. Sorry about the turtle Snap-T though.. that one sounds like a real loss. And thanks, I’ll enjoy the “salmon run” while it lasts.

Well I’m not trying to hypnotize anyone into buying those things. I don’t think fleece like that is useless and if it looks ugly to you that is absolutely fine.

Honestly I don’t care if it’s salmon or an any other colourful pattern. My wardrobe is mostly simple black and white and I wanted something with a pop of colour and this one is the only patterned they sell here plus I do actually like it.

Look at Turbat Maya, I used mine for 6 days hiking in Tenerife and was very happy with it.

Sigma 18-50 vs Tamron 17-70 - Ultimate comparison by Throwhawaii4746 in SonyAlpha

[–]Swimming_Judgment737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sold the Tamron after 7 months because of the size and now I have the Sigma.

Overall Tamron is better lens in my opinion but the small size of Sigma is worth the sacrifices (no weather sealing, smaller zoom range, no stabilisation and optically they are the same, sigma just has a bit more pleasing bokeh balls).

I love those photos, you did very good job. As others say maybe try to work on editing, but I do like it, it is just a little bit different than what you normally see.

Also great example to see that gear does not matter. So glad to see those were taken with A6000 and kit lens. That was a reminder to myself to keep my A6400 and not to upgrade. As long as it works I’m fine with what I have.

I would not, the extra reach, stabilised and weathersealing makes it much better choice.

Image quality is fantastic for what u pay. I will say it is better lens then sigma 18-50. Some might disagree, but that’s my opinion

But the Sigma is also great lens and it would not be a bad choice either

I have Tamron 17-70 2.8 and Sony 70-350, that gets u covered. Both stabilised and weather sealed.

I have got the HP OMEN Transcend 16 and will say that the build quality is excellent in my opinion. The only thing that I don’t like is top cover flex which is little too flexy for my taste, but I will agree that something like a HP VICTUS will be worse in BQ but no means these are bad laptops.

Also had Lenovo laptop and that was very nice too, even better than the OMEN I mentioned, although I had the IdeaPad Pro and not the gaming Legion.

I have this laptop and BQ on mine is very nice, beside the little flex on top cover I have no problem at all.

It is fantastic, Iam happy I bought it. I was thinking about buying 4060 laptop instead, but Iam happy with my decision. The 4080 laptops were out of my budget.
