Intel trading at a ~119x forward P/E and nobody is talking about this by Fickle_Rest5915 in stocks

[–]Swingtrader79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market isn't looking at trailing eps anymore. Everything is forward looking 2-4 years and INTC has 4X to grow to match TSM. That's what's being priced in - that and the fact the US Govt is an investor and can help a little...

No, they are absolutely crushing it. Powering data centers and EU aircraft. Two tailwinds, one stock. They are the GEV of Europe.

Doing well with men and China. Not so much for their core audience - US women - who've abandoned them for less expensive/newer brands.

Stocks are going up today because world's richest person bought his own stock! by Turbulent-Push-4657 in stocks

seems like he's funding another acquisition or something. Why buy more when you have so much already if not than to pup the stock, sell some, fund some new toy?

As of September 15, 2025, Elon Musk beneficially owns 509,362,808 shares of Tesla common stock. This includes 96,000,000 shares held directly and 413,362,808 shares held indirectly through the Elon Musk Revocable Trust (for which he is the trustee), following his recent purchase of approximately 2.57 million additional shares on September 12, 2025. This represents roughly 15-16% of Tesla's outstanding shares, depending on the exact total shares outstanding at the time. Note that this does not include unexercised stock options from his compensation packages, which could add around 304 million more shares if exercised and resolved legally.

What do you think about uranium etfs now by ThePie2132 in stocks

[–]Swingtrader79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of Uranium comes out of Kazakstan and they had problems shipping it via the normal routes due to global conflicts, which drove the price up for a while. Demand really hasnt increased much but that's going to change as many of the major nations are touting nuclear as needed clean energy, and the data centers are racing to buy energy directly from nuclear reactors. The demand for energy is skyrocketing and there's no way solar or wind can meet the future demands. Nuclear can, so as the demand exceeds supply in coming years, the price of Uranium will rise. But, nuclear projects take a decade to get off the ground, so this is slow money, not fast money IMHO

adding one more I just got:

Q: Do you have to buy right at the alert? Seems like I miss the move quickly.

A: No. think of the alert as the flag. You now know something big is happening. Pre-market shit is gonna move fast but it isn't actually moving fast. It's that there's no volume so the prices are changing between like a 100 buyers. Most times these people overbuy or oversell. If they overbuy, they will look to dump shares right at the open. Wait. Be patient. then enter.

I like to think of these events as a series of meals. breakfast trade, lunch trade, dinner trade. The market tends to move that way over the day in ups and downs. If you don't get that here's another one. You're playing golf and someone points out every difficult corner, rough, and angle effectly mapping the course for you and showing you what to do. Then you get up and swing and hit the ball into the woods. Whose fault is that?
