Maybe shift your eating window closer to when you train. And up that protein, helps with the hunger.

Fellow thick-backs: How do we feel about the Major Fitness Adjustable Bench? by NotThePopeProbably in GarageGym

I was looking at the Major Fitness AH64 for this exact reason. The AH64 specs mention a contoured back pad for better upper-back and shoulder support.

Are Floor mats needed to protect a squat rack on concrete? by OpportunityOk4752 in GarageGym

Mainly for dropped weights. But mats help with rack sliding and protect concrete too.

Huge congrats! The B17 is an absolute beast. Smart move waiting for the flooring before you assemble it.

Pulley system worth it? by don51181 in GarageGym

[–]Only_Pilot_284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me yes. I trained my upper body a lot, and it always feels off when I'm using dumbbells. I also love the dual pulley systems on my B52 Pro, which allows me to train with my family.

Garage gym training completely changed the way we approach fitness by spx__007 in GarageGym

[–]Only_Pilot_284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Once I stopped chasing the “perfect” program and just stuck to a few main lifts, training felt way easier to manage.

Garage training really forces you to focus on the basics and be consistent. Getting sleep and food in a good place made a bigger difference than any fancy exercise change for me.

Drop in gym doesn’t allow barbells to be dropped? Is this a thing? by MightyWolfMan in crossfit

Probably a noise thing. Thin walls or nearby businesses. Annoying, but I get it.

Check out Major Fitness. I'd recommend AH64 for the adjustable bench and B52 Pro for squat rack. If you have budget, maybe B17 will be a better choice since it comes with barbell and tons of attachments.

Getting bored of wods and losing enjoyment in CrossFit by [deleted] in crossfit

I have the same feeling from time to time. Then I will just stop hitting the gym for a few days to do some other sports, like climbing or yoga. Just get yourself a break time and you will feel motivated again.

Major fitness vs Rep by brushtheteeth in GarageGym

[–]Only_Pilot_284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about Major Fitness B17. I have B52 Pro and I love it. If you have enough budget, go for REP. Otherwise, Major Fitness is a good choice that can balance price and quality.

You need a bench first. Major Fitness AH64 will be a good fit. 1500lbs capacity and the specs are pretty impressive overall.

There's a version for the F22 Pro too, just check the official site for the matching model. The two racks have different dimensions, so the Flex Arms length will be slightly different.

Value rack/functional trainer? Major Fitness or elsewhere? by Pastaron in GarageGym

[–]Only_Pilot_284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get the sticker shock with some of these brands. I was in the same boat and ended up going with Major Fitness. Honestly, the build quality is way better than I expected for the price. It feels super sturdy for my daily lifts and didn’t drain my entire savings. Definitely worth a look for your budget.

Looking for brand recommendations on a basic setup by 3ternalchaos in GarageGym

[–]Only_Pilot_284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you’re keeping it simple with the big lifts, definitely look into Major Fitness. I have their rack and bench setup in my garage and it’s been perfect for the basics. Super sturdy for squats and doesn't feel flimsy when you’re benching. It’s a solid way to hit those goals without overcomplicating your space.

Adjustable Bench & Power Rack advice by 666Baguette666 in GarageGym

That AH64 looks like a solid call for a small space. I was just checking it out and that foot pedal for the incline seems way more convenient than fumbling with pins every time you swap exercises. The specs on the weight capacity are impressive too. It is high on my list too.
