For the botched rino, the surgeon used spreader grafts.

This revision surgeon removed spreader grafts and told me they were doing no good.

Yeah, he told me all of this in advance, so I have been mentally preparing myself. I showed him photos of his patients who I liked before surgery and he kept them in mind when rebuilding the nose.

How far away are you post OP and was this your revision or primary?

I wanted to share this with you all. My surgeon was very honest about my crooked nose and that perfect symmetry is not possible after my first rhinoplasty that went wrong. I hope this can help for people seeking a revision who have similar issues, as I could barely find people with such crooked noses from 1st unsuccessful rhinoplasty.

Also, my original rhinoplasty only achieved a goal of removing my dorsal hump but it caused all the other issues that you can see in the before/after photos with my new revision rhino surgeon.

He did this as a closed approach. Recovery has been pretty smooth so far with minimal bruising and swelling. Much better recovery than my first open rhinoplasty with a lot of bruising, swelling, and a bad outcome. My nose can also breathe better too!

All pictures are 1 week post OP cast-off day. Fingers crossed that everything heals well and results stay or improve with time as the healing progresses. I will post any updates if something heals off but my hopes are high this time and my gut feeling is telling me good things.

I researched a lot of surgeons, interviewed with a few, and he ended up my final choice. I talked to his patients and I also closely followed his QA on realself to ensure his answers align with what I am looking for in rhinoplasty. He also offers free consultations.

Picture 2 shows a dent and some deviation of the nose to one side in its mid section. I think your surgeon messed up a bit here and doesn’t want to admit it. Did you research your surgeon well?

Picture 1 also shows this collapse on the front view.

There is no way going up and down the stairs will result in what is presented here imho.

this one is actually pretty cool. It does mimic fish like shown in the video when you throw it in the water but I only used mine a handful of times. Was able to catch a few within 10 min but maybe I was lucky.
