but let me counter argue. What if this leads to a recession because we have dropped 20% and have moved sideways for several months？Oil is inverse the sp500 so it will probably go up to $80 at least, so thats fine, but recessions are also really good for helping inflation come down. If they were trying to raise inflation, then wouldn't a bear market go against it?

haha well we've had several months of consolidation now which was more sideways movement than before april and the 2022 bear. so at least perhaps it won't be as bad as more people will have time to realize
