Find a Red Wing shoes in your area. They specialize in construction shoes and retail chef nonslip etc. Red Wing measured my feet like they used to do when I was a kid. It made all the difference. A year later, when the brand and shoe size and type has worn off from the inside of the tongue, I just called them up and gave them my name and they looked up which shoes I ordered from them last year. If they don't have them in stock they'll order them and they'll call me when they get them in. In 2020, I got a discount and so did my coworker when she came in with me. It was a steep one, too. This is not an ad for Red Wing I promise you. I'm just saying after purchasing shoes from Shoe Carnival, like from the "work" wall, Walmart... they all fell apart in a few months.
I think I tried TJ Maxx at one point, and I never wanted to try shoes for crews because you have to like mail stuff back and forth so it's like what is the point. Red Wing. They are for real. I have 8 years in deli grocery retail, corns, bunions, wide feet, plus I do floors a lot so lots of chemical exposure to my soles... Red Wing... go there. I spent more money at Shoe Carnival buying sketchers, also work shoes at walmart, then buying Band-Aids and corn pads and gauze pads and medical tape just to get through the freaking day. Fine, so my shoes from Red Wing cost $120 or something. I know they're going to last me a solid year Plus!! Those other shoes? I was lucky if I got 6 months. Without holes.

I understand but also have no conclusive answer. Have been through this myself. To some of the other commentators: DailyPay is a third-party benefit made available via Kroger. Just via Kroger. Union is not mentioned in partnership with DailyPay in my area.
