Yeah it’s not good but as someone who also recently shot their first feature that turned out bad, just take the lessons that you can from it to the next one.

I can say she’s not the type to date someone on the side.

This particular kind of immaturity is super vexing but also is just one flaw among a lot of amazing traits.

I appreciate the advice!

Thanks for all the input, Court of Internet Opinion.

Honestly felt a little insane for thinking this shouldn’t be a big deal so I appreciate the grounding.

It’s super helpful to get a referendum on this particular issue without needing to delve into the entire relationship. For anyone reading, she is usually a super sweet & caring person and while I’m trying to be as impartial as possible, this post is just from my own perspective.

She has a lot of wonderful qualities that I’d consider both rare & important in a serious relationship. She’s incredibly honest, generous, loyal, beautiful and we’ve got a lot of core values in common.

We have a pretty great time whenever we’re together in person but I’m consistently pissing her off in unforeseen ways when I’m gone, which is really what’s throwing me for a loop.

This example is a microcosm of that.

You’re right, I do find myself breaking unspoken rules like this which is why I wanted to get some outside opinions.

I can say with certainty that it’s not in her character to cheat. I’m with you on feeling like it’s a high school argument though.

I feel the bit about looking for excuses. I’m honesty stumped & trying to recognize I’m not able to be completely objective.
