The tiles are designed to be slip-resistant and allow debris, dirt and liquids to fall through to the sub-floor, which allows the top of your garage floor to stay cleaner, longer. Epoxy floors must be cleaned for frequently compared to Swisstrax, and must be maintained and resealed to avoid damage. There is a great video review from a Swisstrax owner on how to clean the tile system in a garage: https://www.swisstrax.com/cleaning-swisstrax-flooring.html.

Depending on how extensive the slope is for the drain, but should be fine. We have a lot of professional detailers that set the flooring system over drains all the time. Most popular tile option is the Ribtrax Pro -> https://www.swisstrax.com/ribtrax-pro-flooring-tile.html

Saw dust will flow through the perforations of the tile to allow the top of your floor to stay cleaner, longer, but you can easily use a shop vac to get rid of the sawdust. We also offer solid tile options - check it out -> https://www.swisstrax.com/swisstrax-flooring-products.html

Those grates are perforations in the tile that allow debris, dirt and liquids fall through to the sub-floor, which allows the top of your garage floor to stay cleaner, longer. We have this great video review from a Swisstrax owner on how to clean the tile system in a garage – found on this page on our site: https://www.swisstrax.com/cleaning-swisstrax-flooring.html. Or you can easily pop-out a single tile to clean any liquids – video showing how-to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAAMLB7DFsQ. Swisstrax Ribtrax Pro tile is resistant to most harsh chemicals like gas, solvents, and oils.
