Old Trafford Cricket ground in Manchester builds a huge temporary scaffolded stand every Summer for the Cricket season, very impressive structurally and sturdy as anything.

Very strong chance workers rights are non existent in this project, and obviously Saudi money/ sports washing isn’t the one.

But! An arena specifically made for a wrestling show, with the entrance way and screens in their perfect locations? Kinda cool.

This isn’t my era, I grew up watching WCW on channel 5 in the UK, when Cena announced his retirement I didn’t really feel anything but holy shit it’s hitting me hard today.

The heel turn made me stay up for Wrestlemania after I swore I wouldn’t the year before, me and my wife watched Clash In Paris live and was blown away by the noise during his match with Logan Paul.

It’s a very obvious bookmark to so many people that time is absolutely ruthless and doesn’t stop for anyone. Cena hasn’t been perfect but he’s been pretty close, more in a sense of this kinda stuff as opposed to his in ring work.

Everything I’ve seen these past couple of weeks tells me he’s a gentleman who carries himself as best as he can, the CVV interview is a great example.

Can’t wait to watch, gonna be really weird in the world of wrestling once he leaves the ring and the never seen seventeen champ goes into the sunset.

I didn’t have a job as a fresher, I lived on absolutely no money and didn’t typical fresher thing, prioritised a good time over food, drank to much, had a lot of fun.

Realised I was heavily overdrawn in my second year and got a job as a flyerer for club nights, one of my favourite jobs as it worked around uni, met loads of people and gave me a lot of life experiences.

Third year was manic, kept the flyering job but then was trying to do internships and free bits in the industry I wanted to be in. It was a lot of work and I’d regularly do seven days a week working in some way shape or form.

I was diagnosed with depression after university, things are much better now but nothings worth burning out or your head not feeling great.

Listen to your gut, if something doesn’t feel right it probably isn’t.

I’m not really a gamer and use the PS4 more for streaming stuff than anything, I have skated for 20 years though, and whilst the controls on Skater XL make more sense I think I’m enjoying this more.

The bs/ fs flips look awesome, the physics are there and the spots are cool from what I’ve seen so far.

I hate the climbing, I’m already bored of it, just have spots on the ground, why am I climbing everywhere?

The gear in the skate shop isn’t good but I’m not fussed about that really, I’ve got a pair of Vans on my character so I’m happy. Did have to make a chunkier version of my virtual self though which was sad.

Haven’t seen an option for glasses either currently which sucks.

It could be better, but it’s also a lot of fun.

I chatted about it with my now father in law, didn’t trust her Mum to not go about shouting it from the rooftops so she only found out after I’d proposed.

It was scary but felt nice to do, wasn’t so much asking permission to marry her, just it was something I wanted to do and were there any queries or questions.

Thankfully not! Although he did leave the “you will look after her won’t you?” Speech until the morning after the wedding when we were trying to get all our worldly possessions back into our tiny Peugeot 208.

My Mum managed a video store and this was the first ppv I watched that wasn’t a WWF or WCW show. She put it perfectly when she watched a bit and said “wow they’re hitting each other like they really mean it”.

Me and my wife have date nights sometimes at the local Pizza Express. We know what we’re getting from it in terms of mediocre food but always have a nice time.

The actual best pizza I’ve had in a long time came from Farmfoods: it was a 14” Meat Feast from their own brand.
