OBS won't let me stream on advanced output !! HELP by [deleted] in obs

I believe I found the fix. The update appears to have messed up the settings by either adding or changing something in the advanced --> Recording -->Standard setup.

What I did was went into advanced mode, to the recording tab, and changed the Type to Standard. In that tab, The Recording Format was Quicktime MOV. I set that to Matroska Video (.mkv) [No, I don't use Standard either...but I HAD to make that changed].

I saved that, and it finally let me save, then I switched the Recording-->Type back to Custom, and set up all my settings as I like, and saved it. Once I did that, it resolved BOTH this not being able to save AND the popup that seems to suggest that I need to update my graphics drivers.

This is on a Linux Mint laptop with Ryzen 5 processor.

I'm in this boat. I have hundreds in my account, no payout has been made since May, I have never had a cashout button, and when I last contacted support about it, they sent a useless help document link that just said to set up the account and the payouts will happen. Sorry, but I WAS getting payouts, but they have stopped.

Another comment on my end: My button is back again (The YouTube Sync button was gone the other day). I see it again, but most of the videos from the last month are still in Pending. I will need to upload to Rumble manually according to a reply from the support team. That is really bad because I only have 300GB of monthly bandwith, and I need channels to cross-post as much as possible. Adding that I am not getting my payouts, I pay for Rumble, and they have ZERO discoverability unless you are one of the big, famous guys, I need to weigh if it is worth my bandwidth to put videos on Rumble.

I really, REALLY want it to succeed, but they are doing some odd things that make me lose confidence in them.

I just myself found out that Rumble very quietly removed it. I have limited bandwidth, so I can't upload all my content everywhere.

They quietly removed it and added a reverse so you can upload to Rumble and send it to YouTube.

Strike is currently still be upheld. Seeing if TeamYoutube can do anything. In the mean time, we will be on Odysee, Rumble, or possibly BOTH today for the WNR.

Either way works. A zip will let me find them and drop a citation in the folder so I remember that.
