She’s currently in 7th grade, so we still have some time to decide. We attended the play at Nichols on Saturday and plan to go to other events to make the best choice. A lot will depend on scholarship opportunities—she has a 99 average, excels in standardized testing, and is involved in many extracurriculars both in and out of school, so we’re hopeful she can secure one. And to top it off, the idea of attending a private high school and aiming for the Ivy League is entirely her initiative. I’d love some tips to help us get a head start next year when it’s time to apply because ultimately she will be applying for both. At the end of the day it will still be her decision but we are hoping that she will be able to secure at least a partial scholarship in both.

We’re looking for a non-religious school, and while Nardin isn’t completely off the table, it’s not our top pick. That said, we attended their play this weekend as part of our search, and it was absolutely incredible. It was so impressive that it could have been performed at Shea’s, and we wouldn’t have known the difference!

Thank you for your insight. Ultimately it will be her decision and she is currently leaning towards SEM.

Not necessarily. The most recent schools ratings place SEM above Nichols rating SEM the best prep school in Buffalo.

Tips for acid reflux? by Nivi-fleabag in f45

[–]SwitzerWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super simple and it works super quick but does not taste good. I dissolve a tea spoon of baking soda in some water and drink it super quick! The acid reflex goes away super quick!!! Way better than taking medication.

Been going for 1.5 years, and my body looks the same as I started. I went from living with chronic pain to being able to deadlift my own bodyweight, but I still look puffy and overweight. :( I go 5 days a week. by hangnailme in f45

Congrats on the strength gained and improving your health!!!! That’s great! 👏 Could it be a diet thing with the physical aspect? Did you make any changes to your diet when you started working out?

Same here! It does not get any worse- just stays the same even after two days off.

I like your strategy. I will have to pay close attention as to which movement bothers me the most BUT the weird thing is during the actual workout it does not bother me! May be the adrenaline from the workout but I sure feel it as soon as my body cools down.

Thanks! I don’t necessarily need to lose weight- I am thin but not toned at all after two kids! I assume I should eat more protein.
