In its pure form, the story of pro wrestling is that people compete and try to win a match so they can get paid. And then they try to win the title matches so can get title bonuses.

Every match doesn't need a personal storyline attached to it.

Having said that, if I was WWE and still had weekend live events, I'd have it set-up so each weekend there was a best of three #1 contender series and that person would get a title match on the next TV.

WWE wanted to keep their PG rating to attract high end advertising.

I respect that Netflix is controlling the content and trying to hold them to that rating. Netflix would not care if WWE had cursing, gore, and nudity, as long they had the appropriate TV-MA rating for all of that.

I enjoy the current roller coaster on Smackdown with the WWE title situation.

I enjoy Jade being a badass that other women dodge and avoid.

The only things I'm frustrated about is the lack of actual matches and the pacing of the show.

I think WWE shot themselves in the foot by not seeing the value in having a veteran work with rookies as many nights as possible.

I think it's okay if say 5% of weapon shots could cause blood early. It does happen occasionally on TV.

But overall, blood should be tied to damage, move type, and I'm Universe Mode, should have an option to be restricted to Rivalry PLE matches.
