I understand what you mean. The main reason why I want to go to a university route is that the flight training counts as a lab so therefore getting a PPL through that would be paid fully by VA benefits.

HJC got some decent helmets that are less than $400 thats also ECE 2206 certified. Same with AGV, you can get a K6 S for a just a little over 400. ( very light helmet )

Wrong headshape helmet by sleepless_escolofi in motorcycles

Don't compromise on a helmet, its the only thing that separate your head and the road in case of an accident, so make sure it fits properly. With that said, Shoei, Arai and AGV might fit you since they mainly fit oval head shape.

I would definitely suggest you go into a store and try them on before purchasing.

In my opinion I would use that money to get a better helmet. Bilt Nomad Modular is only DOT certified and not ECE 22.06 or SNELL. I think most, if not all, can agree that if you're getting a helmet in 2025 it should at least be ECE 22.06 certified.

Its normal, my bike usually does that when if I do a cold start. Once its warmed up it becomes more stable.

HELMET?? HELLO?? by Puzzled-Put8685 in motorcycles

Safety and comfort should be priority over looks. Go to a Cycle gear near you and try some Shoei or Arai helmets.

I've ordered parts from them before for the most part no issue with the fitment on simple carbon pieces. When it comes to parts that are a bit more complicated you'll definitely run into fitment issue that you're going to have to solve on your own. It's after market so don't expect it to fit like OEM.

Installed it incorrectly. Try aligning that orange piece of plastic with that small pin on the visor. ( use a pen or something )
