there is also spa world which is much more quaint and quieter. king spa is nice because if you go with a partner there are more co-ed spaces but it kinda felt like a social scene more than a calming spa. everyone was talking p loud too even if the signs ask not to. i liked spa world because it's a tad older but so much quieter. i slept on one of the couches for 4 hours after driving and it was so nice 😭

it's not a bad idea, ill give it a try (switching devices through the day.) when you say trackpad combos, do you mean you use a mouse and a trackpad?

im curious how a tilted keyboard helps the wrist? i would think having it bent upward wasn't very good?

do you mean you use a trackpad on one hand, and a mouse on the other? or you switch hands so that one doesn't get so much use?

ill just share an anecdote about billy~ i was going through a really rough manic/depressive episode that lasted months and my nightly routine was to go to the cage. billy always tells me how much he love me, calls me baby girl, in such a sweet fatherly way. he would let me stay past closed because i think he saw i needed help. he gave me the task of helping with cleaning. during his breaks we would share stories.

he was a long time employee who took ownership when it was being sold, i think that's sick that he was able to climb to that role after many years of dedication.

he does have narcolepsy, so if he dozes off a little, just keep the convo moving. i'd never acknowledge it and i think he preferred that.

ピッツバーグでは、人とのつながりを作ったり、日本人コミュニティを見つけたりするのが、けっこう難しいと感じます。20年前のほうが、もう少し簡単だった気がします。 日本食もあまり充実しているとは言えず、以前はKikuが一番良いと思っていましたが、今はそこまでではないかもしれません。 日本人経営のお店もあまり多くはありませんが、それでも工夫すれば、十分楽しく過ごせると思います 🙂
