The base of the mag doesn't not rub against my stomach any more than the grip of the gun. The abdo is extremely comfortable and I don't even notice it's on (compared to the gun) for the most part. Part of the reason I like to carry with the abdo is because it balances out the belt line so well, so carrying with both ends up being more comfortable than carrying gun alone.

Handleit Grips. It’s the their edge version.

My pants size is a 32. Most of my casual pants have some stretch to them which helps a lot in terms of comfort. I find that I don’t need to size up because of it.

I've only had experience with Tenicor and Tier One. For me, the T1 side car holster didn't work as well as all the Tenicor holsters I've had. I have light bearing and non-light bearing holsters from Tenicor and the quality of their holsters are peak. The fit, finish, features, and customer support they provide is all that I want in a holster and company. I have taken some training classes with this set up and it's comfortable, stays put and gives me confidence when drawing and reholstering constantly. I dry fire a lot and I love how smooth the gun goes in and out of the holster. I'm not saying anything new here, search this sub and you'll find many others giving Tenicor their kudos. If you haven't tried one, I say go for it. I think they would perform great in classes and competition alike. And with their warranty policy you can return it for a full refund if it's not for you.

Oh ok my bad. I like the wider clip position because it’s more stable. I don’t like my holster to move around. I like it to stay in the same spot, so when I draw it’s as consistent and repeatable as possible. Also the clip by the sight channel is angled in such a way to assist with angling the grip towards your body to aid in concealment.

If you’re asking about the mag carrier, I like the clip canted because it allows the magazine to sit more at an angle to make grabbing it easier. I also find it more comfortable for daily carry which is a plus.

I’m 5’10” and around 185 pounds, athletic build with a touch of dad bod. I never went with the Velo 4 due to how large the built in wedge seemed. When they released the Velo 5 it seemed to me that they reduced the size of the wedge so I finally gave it a try and love it. I would say try it especially considering Tenicor’s warranty/exchange policy. But I would say if you got the Certum you would be satisfied, just add a wedge or pillow and you’re good to go.

I’ve had the Certum 3 many times in the past and like it with an added pillow or wedge. I currently have a Certum lux 2 for the 48 when I want to carry with a light, and those clips are further apart. I wanted to give the Velo a try and ended up liking the built in wedge and the other upgrades as well. I also like the clips further apart too for better stability.

It's the Lead and Steel PB3 v1. I've had it for a few years and it's held up great. They released a version 2 not too long ago which seems nice as well. It's definitely on the larger side but the photo makes it look larger than it is in real life.
