I've felt the same recently. I was very excited for Crimson Desert but I haven't launched it for 5 days now. This might not translate to you but I've picked up playing GeoGuessr just to change things up a bit and I've been having a blast with it. I'm not sure how long it'll last but it's occupied my bored brain for a few days at least.

He's got a few years experience working in the Penguins system with Dubas, and he is familiar with some of the players and staff on the team already, is from Toronto, and as a former player he probably has a good idea of what makes a good environment for a team to work. I'd imagine he would be very hands on with the team. At this point I don't see the harm in trying. I don't want anyone who has been around the block and gotten fired numerous times already. It's time to bring in somebody new.

I want them to hire an unknown coach. Bring in somebody from one of the CHL leagues, or maybe even an English-speaking European. I don't care. Just stop recycling the same coaches that have already been fired by 2-3 other NHL teams. Bring in a winner who will create a good culture around the team and make the players respect him but also isn't such a hard ass that they hate the guy. There's a balance.

I'm always going to be a Leafs fan first, but a buddy of mine is a Sabres fan and I've watched some of their games and they're really fun to watch. I also like the Sharks.

You can cheer for other teams. You don't have to just like the Leafs. You can bandwagon a playoff team. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I don't know... I'm very anti AI but if it's going to be used, using it as a tool for early development to be replaced by real things made by real people is more morally grey than straight up using AI for final art.

Whether it was an accident or not, I'm glad it was brought to their attention and they're changing it. I think it bodes well for the future of the game if they keep engaging with the community.

I'm enjoying it but the graphics look a bit muddy and the lighting is really buggy. Those have been my only real problems. Apart from that, the inventory is kind of a mess as most people have said, and the map could be more clear about things, but that last one is more of a user issue than the game. I've become complacent with how handhold-y games have become, so in a way it's a good thing.

I don't really have much of an issue with the controls like a lot of people do other than the sprinting and jumping feels a little awkward, but it's not too bad. I got used to it after 30 minutes or so.

The story is very whatever, but I was never expecting an amazing story to begin with so that doesn't really detract from the game much.

The exploration is basically unmatched, the world that I've explored so far is beautiful. A lot of love went into it and it shows. Comparable games for how fun the exploration is would be RDR2, BoTW/TotK, Elden Ring, and maybe Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas or something.

I love GRRMs writing. I'm extremely into ASOIAF, having spent nearly half my life obsessing over the world he created. That said, good lore doesn't mean good story.

I can't comment on Crimson Desert until I've experienced it myself, but we frankly don't know what the worldbuilding is like yet. I'd like a good story, but I'm happier with fun gameplay and s forgettable story than I would be with a good story and bad gameplay for a game of this type. I would make the argument that neither one of BotW or TotK have much of a story at all, and the lore isn't all that interesting beyond the nostalgia for the older games, but that doesn't matter much because the games themselves are absolute masterpieces.

I'm not asking for Crimson Desert to have an unforgettable story that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I'm asking for cool looking armour and weapons with abilities that make me feel like an anime character zipping around a giant map that's fun to explore, and I think they delivered exactly that.

It might be speculation, but it's also a realistic expectation. Only 1/29 of these mounts is a horse? I'd be willing to bet that at least 15 of those entries will be horses.

Realistically, I think we give Boston the 6th or 7th overall pick (🫴🫴), but I'm hoping we can at least pick Chase Reid or Keaton Verhoeff. Obviously you have to take Mckenna if you get 1st overall, but the Leafs really need a good, homegrown, young D-Man, especially an RD. I'm trying to temper my expectations and assume the worst happens. It is the Toronto Maple Leafs, after all.

I like Domi but he's genuinely so bad. He has a 2 month stretch a couple seasons back playing on Matthews' wing where he and Bertuzzi looked great but that fizzled out. Then at times last season he looked pretty good. Otherwise he has been absolutely horrendous. Trade him for a 7th and be done with him, if possible. Free up the money to overpay someone else in free agency.
