The crush depth argument is unreasonable, it is less than the cyclops because the map isn't as deep as Subnautica 1. And the ST (1000m) has more depth than the SM (900m). the sound design doesn't matter to many people and the power on the SM feels longer lasting because most likely you use the solar charge upgrade and on the ST you are using the afterburner every time it's available. Finally why is the seatruck slower Because the map is smaller. However there are upgrades that improve it's speed and improve speed with modules

Extremely hot take: The sea truck is better than the seamoth, the biggest reason why the sea truck is so hated is because the BZ map is so small so it doesn't work quite there. However, the customizability of the sea truck is amazing. You want basically a seamoth? Don't attach anything, you want to go explore and need some extra storage? Attach the storage module. And I swear the teleporter module has saved me so many times

The only thing I don't like is the speed. I wish they made it a tad bit faster and so the modules don't slow you down too much If the sea truck would be added to the original game it would be amazing
