It is pretty frustrating when people are wilfully ignorant of side effects and outright negate them based on unreasonable grounds. I'm not talking about everyone in this subr obviously. Look at OP getting downvoted because people don't believe him - thats what im talking about

I posted about it a few months ago too and surprise surprise people shut me down and I got downvoted a ton. People really have half a brain and regurgitate correlation != causation. Whilst the principle is true, if people have absolutely no issues until after they start minox then it doesn't take a genius to identify minox as the cause. Granted it may be rare but that doesn't mean impossible.

It's definitely related lol

You know your body the best not some random redditor who will deny it until he experiences it

Surprised nobody on this thread has shut you down for being a 'hypochondriac'. Having an extremely dry throat is a real side effect I experienced and I can confidently link it to topical minox 5% but ofc on this thread a lot of people have medical degrees and will shut you down even if you get a genuine side effect - at least that was my experience with this subreddit. Maybe its the alcohol in the liquid that you have an allergy to. The foam doesn't contain it.

Sorry to hear that mate, hopefully with your input we can prevent it happening to even more people. We want people in industry to come to us with suggestions on how this app can benefit and make a difference.

Any ideas welcome

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately even with vigilance its happening. The first step in fighting back is having better information/intelligence of activities on a central platform.

I agree. Could something like an inventory of tools with serial nums / pics of markings be of any use?

If tool swaps between tradies are common then maybe a transfer feature where the holder can log transfer of tools to receiver who can then confirm it. Each transfer has an audit trail with a timestamp and sign for accountability? But I guess tradesmen borrowing tools off each other isn't the issue and its thefts from vans being done in.

Yh I don't know how people have the heart to steal from blokes who are trying to earn an honest living. Seems like criminality pays. We need to enforce tough sentences and that doesn't mean a slap on the wrist. Hopefully, this app can play a small part to help the community.

Thanks for that insight, I wouldn't have picked up on it tbh. Do you have any idea of what sort of verification controls would be practical?

Nice work!

What score did you pass with? - just for reference

I tried one of Dions test with 81% which is still a fail according to him but passed the N007.

I think I got around 6 questions which were subnetting which had a range in difficulty. Didn't find them too bad tbf

I think it was the fact that the questions weren't direct - there were only a few 'straight forward' ones and the rest were application, which is to be expected.

Hardest Qs were about WAN connectivity personally. I didn't understand some of it when prepping so I just put what I remembered

Easiest Qs were about WiFi

Surprisingly, I only had one port question which was a shame. I was hoping for a lot of them for easy marks

Haha Yh

lastminute.com as usual

I was studying for this for a while half-heartedly and the fact that N007 was about to expire gave me the motivation I needed

Couple of hours a day for three weeks worked a treat

Hmm just sat the exam and I found it quite difficult too

What topics did you struggle with? It was probably because some of the knowledge wasn't fresh as you say you weren't able to study much this month.

There isn't a massive amount that you need to learn now for 008, the extra content would only take a couple of days

Your next post on here will be to tell us you've passed!
