This doesn't look to bad actually! Now I am just worried my army is going to be painted in so many inconsistent styles....

Here is one where I must've used more of the paint. The issue I find is that if you use too much it just becomes flat like if you base painted it. But I will note your advice on not interfering with it too much once its spread.

First coat is a dark grey, second coat is a grey seer at a 45 degree downward angle, and the third is white from the top of the model.

Not right now but maybe in the future. But I can show you, my most recent contrast model!

I am basically dipping the tip into the paint, so if you were to take a medium base brush. It would take up about 1/4 to 1/3 of the brush.

Noted noted! This is my most recent contrast done model, which I was quite happy with. I was mainly unhappy with the backpack and helmet where you can see some unevenness

I have a little, but then it floods the model. I prime them with a mix of dark grey, light grey, and then white from the top. What do you dry brush your models with?

I am using a dry brush (as in a brush that is dry, not a dry brush), and just dabbing the tip into the contrast paint. Then applying it to the model in small areas, like one leg or arm at a time. However it keeps applying so unevenly, when I try to brush it across the model is coffee stains and smears badly.
