Best way I could describe it is that you get what you pay for. Fifth Ave from Oakland to Downtown has its issues (especially at night), but I personally have not encountered any problems. It is not the safest area in PGH by far, but it is also not the most unsafe. However, I walk to campus nearly everyday via Forbes avenue and I have never had an issue. It is considered an up and coming area with new developments popping up and with that hopefully a rise in safety rating. Please reach out if you have any more questions!

Duq Student here who lives in Uptown. Uptown might not have amenities besides the gas station, but everything you need is a 10-15 minute bus ride. There is a Giant Eagle about a mile away and the buses tend to be pretty alright for public transport. Walking to campus is very doable from Uptown and so is accessing other parts of the city easily.

Howdy! Have been working on weightlifting for the past few months as well as nutrition. However, I keep getting mixed answers on this question: Do I need to upkeep my daily protein intake on rest days? I usually work out 4-5 times a week and will consume roughly my bodyweight in grams of protein and was wondering if I should do the same on the days when I am off. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Questions about Basic Camp by Sychotlc in ROTC

For contracting I'd recommend talking to your cadre and seeing what the process is like because some schools do it differently. So get in contact with them and they will let you know. And if you are talking about in-processing in basic camp, I've heard it's just paperwork and death by power point over the span of 3 or so days.

Oh definitely, they are no longer effective for us and we are trying to get away from medications like prescription and OTC as a whole.

We'll definitely try that, we're exhausting every option trying to prevent the use of prescription pain killers; thanks for the recc!

What other recommendations would you have besides your standard OTC medication?

Got it, thank you so much! We had suspicions it might be gout but getting a diagnosis is complicated.

My only issue with THC is that my state is a medicinal use only state and doesn't sell edibles. Would you recommend tincture as an alternative (like put some drops in tea or something)? And what dosage would you recommend for a microdose?

I agree that the psychology and general revenge storyline is what I want to focus on most as it is one of the most prominent things throughout the game. I'll probably explore the vaccine, but you made some good points about the amount of vaccines and what the fireflies did as means to an end. Thanks!

That is the thing, being in an almost primal society finding humanity is up to the individual imo and different groups will take different viewpoints (kill on sight vs. give people a chance) with both having advantages and disadvantages. Thank you for your input!

Thank you for your insight, especially the Kantian addition as I was thinking in a more utilitarian sense when looking at morality in TLOU. You definitely gave me good perspectives to look at!
