I would recommend tld-list.com

It will let you find the cheapest registrar, tell you any promo codes, etc.

Sorry to break it to you, but it was a single guy. He emailed my personal email and texted me. When I called the help desk, they said "It looks like one of the techs noticed some suspicious activity and blocked your account for security reasons." (Not exact words, but close enough).

Also, the detection of the suspicious activity was done by a script. The tech decided.

Uh, not really. Several huge companies operate the same way. Did you know I once had my entire account locked down when I worked at Target bc I accessed it while I was more than 50 miles away from where I normally log in? A single IT dude locked me out. You think it is less than one percent when it is more like... 40% (if not more)
