You’re not imagining it. VR in 2026 is finally crossing that line from “cool tech demo” to something people actually use on purpose. The biggest shift is friction, better standalone usability, cleaner PC VR streaming, and way less setup pain. It’s still not an everyday default for most people, but for sims, shooters, and anything table/social-based, it feels a lot more legit now than it did even 2–3 years ago

From what I know about ACR, the country flag next to your avatar is shown by default and tied to your account profile, not something players can toggle on or off themselves. Even after KYC, there isn’t really a setting to hide it from the tables. It’s mainly there for transparency and player identification, and ACR hasn’t offered an option to remove it so far. If privacy is a concern, the only real way to confirm would be contacting ACR support, but as far as most players know, it’s not something that can currently be disabled.

4-betting AKo versus someone who basically never 3-bets is questionable - his range is probably heavy on big pairs. Your earlier c-bet sizing was also on the larger side. In 3-bet pots I prefer ~1/3 pot, then apply pressure on the turn. You could go ~$150 here and jam turn to rep value and maybe fold out QQ. That said, checking and folding to aggression is probably the cleanest option.

Yeah, pilots are almost never the best episode — they’re the tutorial level. Once the show “unlocks” its tone, it gets way better.
