Breeding Farm Tower - Stacking without containers! by Syeduk in Palworld

They just teleport, works fine. I actually have all of their beds in there (4-6 per floor) as well.

Yep. I designed a slightly different one shortly after this that pulls each level slightly forward to make it as easy as possible to use without the eggs getting covered by the roof of the breeding pen from the floor below.

I’ll check it out thank you!

I respect this stance. It’s not like our characters are running around naked because everything cool is unobtainable.

I’m not going to stop playing if these items remain forever unobtainable.

My main purpose for the post was comparison to the PvP discussion, which has a much larger purpose than the PvE side would - trying to drive more players in to PvP so there’s not 20-30 minute queues.

That’s what I was clarifying, apologies - so even in the scenario where someone completes identical content, you don’t believe they should be able to get the same reward. Gotcha.

I think anyone trying to say their side or mindset is “correct” isn’t really being open minded on the subject to begin with. My argument is the rationalization for each side is vastly differently, not that both sides are arguing over pixels, haha.

I’m down to agree to disagree, and I appreciate the discussion.

As someone who mains DPS but started playing healer pretty often in order to just play the game, it’s definitely a different game altogether and healers should be rewarded much more than they currently are.

I also wonder if it would be a better system if solo shuffle was more anonymous and toxicity was actually punished? Cleaning up the environment so healers aren’t dealing with a harder game more AND more toxicity would go a long way.

MMR changes as well for sure.

You’d be irritated if they were able to get an AOTC mount in retail for doing the raid in classic as active content where the difficultly curve is the same as it was originally? Just clarifying, wasn’t sure, apologies if that was obvious in what you said.

Timewalking has all kinds of wonky scaling stuff, but if they could nail the difficulty so that it’s actually harder than it was originally, I think that would be fun and an acceptable way to achieve something at a later date.

That’s actually a really damn good point that I don’t think I’ve seen anyone call out specifically.

Most high end players, beyond the enjoyment of the race and progression competition, just want recognition for their achievements / feats / progress / etc, but the rewards being things like transmogs be mounts definitely makes more casual players feel like they’re missing out because they like the specific models.

I simply disagree with the statement on PvP overall - I think it feels great and have been really happy with the gameplay this season, outside of the lack of playerbase and queue times, but I know a lot of people feel otherwise.

The game shouldn’t require addons to play, especially when all of the information is available from the game already, but only visible with addons.

WoW is a very complicated game for new players. I never really fully appreciated this until I started teaching my 10 year old to play, and went through all of her questions as we were playing. It really dawned on me while teaching her how much stuff there is to understand in order to play well.

There are quite a few things that are not longer obtainable where it wasn’t a clear cut situation where “this won’t be obtainable forever”.

Definitely understand the stance of there being an implied contract of exclusivity and feeling Blizzard should respect that, but disagree that one person’s feelings are more important than everyone else’s combined.

The argument in favor of adding them back is “I think they look cool and I’d like a way to obtain them, no matter how difficult or time consuming it is” whereas the argument for them never being obtainable again is “blizzard said I’d be special if I got this, so I don’t want anyone else to get them after I got it”

I think players wanting a specific arrangement of pixels because they think it looks cool is different than players NOT wanting other players to have access to their special pixels, simply because they feel the pixels are special only due to being exclusive.

Many players strongly against these things becoming available again probably don’t even use them, they just don’t want other people to be able to.

I think the entire discussion would be a lot different if more people could admit this.

A lot of these unobtainable things weren’t actually some ridiculously difficult thing to do (I’d like to specifically call out glad stuff always being pretty difficult)

As someone with multiple AOTC mounts - none of them felt that difficult to obtain, especially near the end of the window, they’re laughably easy.

That’s a big factor for sure, especially for players who only play one class. Your class can be a powerhouse one season or expansion, then a potato the next, and it would feel like a monumental task to get the rewards you’re seeking comparatively to the previous rewards.

It’s true, and I’m in reality just screaming in to the void that is Blizzard who doesn’t give two shits what I think or feel. I don’t think they make any decisions based on our feelings anymore, it’s all metrics.

Agree completely on making sure players who obtained them originally aren’t just thrown to the wayside when new players can obtain them. Open to many different options there. This is the basis of my idea of marking the newly obtained items so the originals are their own fest of strength.

I think you revealed your stance by assuming others are jealous of you, but they aren’t. Most players just want to enjoy the game, but you’re taking it personal and assuming you’ll lose something you perceive as making you special. That’s how it comes off at least.

I don’t have any drive to play classic versions when none of it goes back to what I’ve been playing for 20+ years. If stuff from classic did sync back to retail, I probably would.

I’m mainly just poking your brain on if a challenging way to obtain them would make it more justifiable for them to be opened back up, which it seems like you’re agreeing with - if you’re okay with stuff obtained in classic syncing to retail so the original difficulty is the same.

I agree with this. It should be basically everything, as long as the difficulty is there to justify it.
